thanks to the organisers tho. cil and xianyong already planned to go back home on the 7th, so we requested a change and now it's finally settled on 29th (the very day linus ends his paper) so effectively, we have one afternoon to learn/practice as a full group and attend the rehearsal, before we're up on stage tt evening. wonderful huh

"Hey performers and reps! Approved le!:-)

haha okay, it's not a competition or anything. just a concert to raise funds for the foundation, but there'll be all the talenttime winners from other colleges. don't think it's all a cappella, also shld have soloists and all.
it's been brought forward by 2 days already, even though we'll be so pressed for time. and it's worse for linus since he ends his last paper on the 29th (it's the next day lol) but hey, we're last minute people. we just need u all to support us! so order your tix from me!

maybe zhirui and jiahao will be emcees for the tjc event, so keep ur hopes up.
well to negativ, basically i'm booking ALL your time from your last paper til gradnight (just so you can plan your after As schedule) think XQ's house, and his mum's food, or sleepovers even. for myself, got a boring 8 to 5 office job after As, so let me know your schedules too. for now, just study hard. exciting stuff for us after all the mugging!

About Negativ
Inspired by their senior a cappella group
“The Tenor Bass Brothers”, abbreviated as TTBB, they wanted to start a junior a cappella group on their own. Thus they started with ALL the junior guys, 12 of them. Arranged and performed “Collide” by Howie Day at that year’s senior farewell concert. It didn’t work out too well though it was a decent farewell gift at senior farewell 2006.
Then there was NJ Open Day auditions, an opportunity to perform. They knew they couldn’t manage too big an a cappella group of 12, so it was downsized to 6. They practiced at Xingqun’s place, where Yakult (probiotic drink) was in abundance. They drank Yakult and commented that they preferred Yakult over Vitagen (competitor probiotic drink).
Hence, on October 2007, they named themselves Negativ (Vitagen spelt backwards).
